Vision

Growing life-giving communities that connect people, faith and life.

Suburban Seeds seeks to

  • love God and neighbour by joining in with the local community; supporting what is already going on, working in partnerships with organisations, responding to the community in order to enrich and develop community life, both in physical emotional, social and spiritual ways.

  • grow a network of faith communities - people gathered together in small groups exploring what it means to follow Jesus and love their neighbour, connecting faith with life.

Suburban Seeds is a Ministry of the Parramatta-Nepean Presbytery, which belongs to the Uniting Church in Australia and we adhere to the Basis Union

Christine is a local who lives in the area who is passionate about engaging in her community, connecting people and exploring how we follow Jesus and live out his call to love our neighbour.  Christine has a background in Primary school teaching, Pastoral work, and was ordained as a minister in the Uniting Church in Australia in 2014.  She is keen on the church exploring fresh expressions of what it means to be the church in our local context.  Her role involves community engagement and development alongside growing, resourcing and equipping a local network of faith communities.
